“I take the work seriously because I believe in the value of people and their stories.”
I’ve been hooked on stories since I was eight years old — the night my grandmother sat me down to watch Rocky. At first, I thought I wanted to be a boxer. I fell in love with the life I saw flashing before my eyes - the struggle, the fight, the heart. But after I watched the next film, and the next after that, I realized it wasn’t the roles people played that drew me in… it was the stories being told. The way I could get lost in them. The way they could pull me in and change the way I saw the world. From there, I started making my own videos. Little projects on a home camera, experimenting with shots, editing, and telling stories of my own. I’d beg my friends to come over just so we could make what I was thinking would be the next big movie. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. But, it gave me something to work towards.
By high school, I’d landed my first real creative job working for my school’s news broadcast - directing, editing, and producing content that reached our entire community. That’s where I learned how much stories could connect people.
The name Glasshouse Media comes from a family legacy. My family’s business, Gentry Glass, has been a household name in Memphis for decades - a name built on craftsmanship, trust, and hard work. I wanted to carry that same spirit into my own work: a brand people could count on.
The two biggest influences in my life have been my dad and my grandfather - both incredible storytellers and even better men. They could hold a room with nothing but a story, making people feel like they were right there living it. They taught me that stories aren’t just entertainment - they’re bridges between people. Watching them, I saw the power of narrative to captivate, inspire, and bring people together.
That’s the heart of why I do this.
I believe every person’s story matters. We’re all made in God’s image, and every life, every voice, holds weight. Whether it’s a quick social edit or a full film project, I take the work seriously because I believe in the value of people and their stories.
When you work with Glasshouse Media, I want you to feel cared for - like you’re in the hands of someone who’s got it from here. Someone who listens, who works hard, and who’s going to tell your story the right way.
This isn’t just my business.
It’s my legacy.
It’s my passion.
And it’s what I love to do.
